There are several tools that provide a mix of visibility, ease of use and scalability of this program. In this PRTG Network Monitor review, we'll look at what this product is getting out of the crowd.

PRTG Network Monitor combines automatic discovery, network monitoring, NetFlow analysis, cloud monitoring, VMware monitoring, and database monitoring in one package. With automatic discovery, PRTG Network Monitor can scan your network over the IP range. When a device is found, it is automatically added to your monitoring environment. The advantage is that you do not need to manually configure the devices on your network.

The dashboard is not the most important part of a network monitoring product. The pristine dashboard is where you will perform 99% of your tracking activity. In general, PRTG Network Monitor makes time spent on the control panel a fun experience. The control panel displays all your live usage data in real time.

As you can see in the picture above, the dashboard combines a screen mix to display your data. In the upper-right corner of the screen, you can see new alarms, record entries, critical devices, alert devices and all other devices. Each of them is color-coded, so you can see them more easily. These colors are also used to show the health status of each device on the home screen. The red indicates that the device is in critical condition and must be handled immediately in PRTG Review Tools.

One of the most iconic screens presented in PRTG Network Monitor is the Map view. If you don't know HTML when you first use it, it may be a little difficult to use the map editor. However, once you have captured the connection, you can create multiple-layer maps to display your connected devices. The PRTG Map can be seen in the following picture on the left.

If you're in a network monitoring tool market, there's no need to say that a platform's live network viewing experience is more important than any other to effectively monitor your network. This is because the tools used to monitor the network appear as in the visibility of the program.

However, this is an area where PRTG Network Monitor is superior. The PRTG uses a combination of SNMP, NetFlow and WMI to query your infrastructure health and monitor your network bandwidth.
