There are many tools that provide a combination of visibility, ease of use and scalability for this program. In this PRTG Network Monitor review, we'll look at what this product is getting out of the crowd.

PRTG Network Monitor combines automatic discovery, network monitoring, NetFlow analysis, cloud monitoring, VMware monitoring and database monitoring into a single package. It is not difficult to point out that PRTG Network Monitor provides almost any monitoring environment you might want. In this article, we will discuss what PRTG Network Monitor can offer.

Build Up PRTG

Installation will be your first interaction with PRTG Network Monitor. Fortunately, the installation process does not take long to complete. PRTG Network Monitor has one primary server running with probes located along your network. One of the best installation elements is that you do not need to install devices automatically because of an auto discovery feature (discussed in more detail in the next section).
Wise setup, all you need is your logon credentials and SNMP settings for each device. This means that you can run quickly and painlessly in the PRTG Network Monitor screen.

Exploration PRTG

Although the setup process is relatively simple, this automatic discovery of something has already closed the deal in the fast deployment process. With automatic discovery, PRTG Network Monitor can scan your network over the IP range. When you find a device, it is automatically added to your monitoring environment. The advantage is that you do not need to configure hardware manually on your network.

Dashboard PRTG

Dashboard is not the most important part of a network monitoring product. The pristine dashboard is where 99% of the tracking activity will take place. In general, PRTG Network Monitor makes the time you spend on the control panel a pleasant experience. The dashboard displays all real-time usage data.

As you can see in the image above, the dashboard combines the screen combination to display your data. In the upper-right corner of the screen, you can see new alarms, registry entries, critical devices, alarms and all other devices. Each one of them is color-coded, so you can see them more easily. These colors are also used to show the health status of each device on the home screen. Red indicates that the device is in critical condition and must be dealt with immediately.

One of the most iconic screens provided by PRTG Network Monitor is the map view. If you do not know HTML when you first use it, it may be difficult to use the map editor. However, once you've captured the connection, you can create multi-layered maps to view your connected devices. The PRTG map can be seen in the following image on the left.

Network Monitoring (Packet Loss Capabilities)

If you are working in a market for network monitoring tools, you do not have to say that the live network viewing experience of the platform is more important than any other country to effectively monitor your network. Important sensors, such as the Packet Sniff Sensor, the Cisco IP SLA sensor, and the QoS One-Way Sensor sensor, let you see how your network is performing. For example, the Packet Sniffer Sensor allows you to search and view live and previous live data with the help of pie charts. You can tell if you have any problems in your hand in a few seconds. You can remove circular charts that display data like Top Talkers, Top Connections, and Top Protocols, and you'll see everything you need to keep track of.
